Hi! Welcome to ChristianRoots Canada

I'm the Curious Canadian History Buff discovering how God used people and events to establish Canada - events like the building of the Peace Tower, the engraving of 25 Scripture Verses in it and the man who put them there. I discovered that our universities were built by Christians wanting to train ministers and teachers. Read the ARTICLES on our website and sign up for our courses.

No Peace on Earth With the Liberal Government

The Bell Tower / Peace Tower on Parliament Hill And in despair I bowed my head;"There is no peace on earth," I said;"For hate is strong,And mocks the songOf peace on earth, good-will to men!" The words of this Christmas carol, 'I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day', has been playing in my head for the last month ever since I heard MP Marc Miller propose changes to the Criminal Code to have many books of the Bible denounced as hate literature and worthy of jail time if pastors preach those...

Our Christian Heritage Is NOT Hateful

2026 Calendar Say 'Hello' to our newest, unique calendar. This is our Canadian Heritage Birthday Calendar In our last email, when we told you about the government's 'Heritage Month' celebrations, we also said, "There is no mention of Christian Heritage in the lineup of 'heritage' celebrations from the Ministry of Culture, History & Sports." The federal government, while slow to declare December as Christian Heritage Month, has been quick to designate 'heritage months' to other nationalities...

Controversial Poppies, Freebie & Your Heritage

The Controversial Poppies Every Canadian reading the link above should have a massive outcry of, 'Shame on them'. The gist of the story is this... a Nova Scotia judge has banned the wearing of poppies in his courtroom because he is concerned that it might hypothetically offend the sensibilities of a non-veteran, in a hypothetical case he might have before the court against a veteran. And the rest of the learned judges have come to his defence, endorsing his actions. Please read about the...

Where Do I Start? How do I Thank You?

Health Update On October 29th, 2025, I felt like it was the first day of my life. When I sat at my computer, it felt great to be lucid at last. It was as if a huge fog lifted from my brain. I could think! Enjoying a warm fall day I searched BibleGateway for the Biblical term, 'in his right mind', and AI came up with this : a state of mental clarity, self-control, and spiritual sanity, often resulting from deliverance from demonic possession or a transformed life through faith in Christ (see...

Horizons, Reconcilliation & Legacies

BRIGHT HORIZONS Have you ever read Lamentations Chapter 3? You should. Jeremiah laments about all the physical suffering he has endured from the hand of the Lord. It has caused him to be bitter. But for a moment, he pauses and says confidently, 'But this I call to mind, and THEREFORE I have HOPE. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, THEREFORE I will hope in Him. I am...

Bubble Wrap, Blessings & Biographies

Bubble Wrap It had been a long time... Too long, if you ask me. Yes. I have been incommunicado for a month! I can't believe it! I have been lost in bubble wrap and packing paper. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. The rest of the condo is 'almost perfect', except the office. This is what it looks like. My Office (end of July 2025) It is getting better. Maybe by next week there will be an improvement. At least I can see floor space. Blessings 'I'll come to tell the mighty deeds that...
