My Tomorrow Has Come Have you ever felt alone and insufficient even when you are doing the best you can with the resources you have been blessed with? Being a solopreneur in a niche market is hard. I have been praying for reliable help for ChristianRoots Canada, and the Lord heard and answered. Because of that, watch for changes in our store. The SALES are coming soon! Tick-tock... time is running out to sign up for the Lunch N' Learn on Wednesday, October 21st. We are doing a series on the Christian Millionaires of Toronto, who left important legacies in food processing, health care, education, and financial institutions. The series begins with the rags-to-riches story of Sir Joseph Wesley Flavelle. He was one of the many millionaire Methodists. His meatpacking business lives on in Maple Leaf Foods. He was the prime mover behind the construction of Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, and his influence lives on in more places than you might think! In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Sherbourne Street Methodist Church in Toronto was known as 'The Millionaires' Church'. This was because many wealthy businessmen were members. When he established his first business, he hung a plaque in his office that read, 'Not Slothful in Business, Fervent in Spirit, Serving the Lord - Romans 12:11.' ------------------------------------ State vs Church, written by my researcher husband, Tim Bloedow. If you want to understand how evil laws affect the Church in Canada, this book is a 'must-read'. This book was written in 2007 by former Legislative Assistant, Researcher, and writer Tim Bloedow. It is as relevant today as it was then. It exposes the government's agenda as a belief system called secularism, which he explains. That belief system has been the basic religion informing laws passed in Canada for more than a decade. It replaces Christianity's biblical belief system. Tim argues that the state has hijacked and redefined the term 'Separation of Church and State' to mean 'the separation of religion from politics'. He explains what the phrase truly means. Hopefully, the laws he cites and the examples he uses will help you answer the question, 'Whose religion is on display?' when you apply it to any law. Get the book for free, but pay $5 each for shipping. ----------------------------------- This year, there will be ONE LIMITEDdoctor's print run.
