2026 Calendar Say 'Hello' to our newest, unique calendar. This is our Canadian Heritage Birthday Calendar In our last email, when we told you about the government's 'Heritage Month' celebrations, we also said, "There is no mention of Christian Heritage in the lineup of 'heritage' celebrations from the Ministry of Culture, History & Sports." The federal government, while slow to declare December as Christian Heritage Month, has been quick to designate 'heritage months' to other nationalities that have been in Canada for just a couple of decades. This year, we have created our first 'Heritage' & Birthday Calendar.' Each month, at the top of the calendar, you will find one of the 25 Scripture verses that is shouted from the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. THIS is our Christian Heritage. If you scan the QR code, you will hear Lynette teaching about the relevant Scripture image for that month. Our 2026 Calendar also allows you to record the birthdays of your friends and family on the blank lines of the month. You can compare our heritage with the government-designated one listed at the bottom of the calendar, and you will have a ready-made prayer calendar so you can pray appropriately for that event on those days. The inside cover of the calendar reminds you about our purpose for the calendar. You can pre-order here, to get it at a reduced price before November 30th, 2025. ---------------------------------------------------- December is Christian Heritage Month This year, we are faced with a couple of challenges that attack the foundations of our Christian faith and heritage. They are worth bringing to your attention. First, the struggle is still on to get cities to declare December as Christian Heritage Month. The annual celebration kicks off in Brampton on December 7th. at 3 pm. You must register to attend this free event. ------------------------------ Since 2024, MP Jamil Jivani tabled a Bill, C-369, to declare December as Christian Heritage Month. This Bill was previously introduced by MP Marilyn Gladau from 2021 to 2023. Yet, the Liberal Government refuses to pass that Bill. It was originally shut down by the NDP. ---------------------------------------------------- The Bible As Hate Literature Meanwhile, Liberal MP Marc Miller, is seeking to have the Bible declared as hate literature. He even took the time to quote chapter and verse to validate his argument. My Friend, if you think that more widespread persecution of Christians is not on its way, I urge you to wake up. Hundreds of churches have been fire bombed in the last few years, with not a peep of condemnation heard from the federal government.
