No Peace on Earth With the Liberal Government

And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"

The words of this Christmas carol, 'I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day', has been playing in my head for the last month ever since I heard MP Marc Miller propose changes to the Criminal Code to have many books of the Bible denounced as hate literature and worthy of jail time if pastors preach those words.

Video #1: Religious Freedom Debate

If you did not listen to the debate on C-9 in the House of Commons on Thursday, December 11th, then here is a link to the video as streamed by MP Garnett Genius.

As I listened to speeches made by MPs Jamil Jivani, Roman Baber, Larry Brock, Andrew Lawton, Rosemary Falk, Ted Falk, Marilyn Gladu, and others, my heart was glad to be represented by such fine Christians on the Hill. They were the true 'Watchmen on the Tower'.

To listen to the Bloc Quebecois and Liberal MPs (who clearly have not read the Bible) cherry pick the texts of the Bible they see as hate literature, and apply them out of context to prove their point, was plainly despicable.

It is understandable when Marc Miller and Domenic LeBlanc (two of Justin Trudeau's groomsmen) seek to carry on his legacy of hatred toward Christianity. These men were Trudeau's childhood friends and were groomsmen in his wedding.

You might recognize other faces in the picture of Trudeau with his groomsmen, such as Gerald Butts (his advisor for most of his years as Prime Minister), and Seamus O'Regan (he held many ministerial positions from 2015 to 2024).24).

It is so important to look into the people who influenced the person whose story you are planning to tell.
