Get it NOW! We made this year's calendar with three objectives in mind. On the inside of the front cover you will read this: Each month, at the top of the calendar, you will find a picture showing one, or many, Scripture verses from the 25 verses that are shouted from the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. THIS is our Christian Heritage. If you scan the QR code, you will hear Lynette teaching about the relevant Scripture image for that month. You can record the birthdays of your friends and family on the blank lines for the month. ------------------------------------- Christian Heritage Month Our federal government refuses to proclaim December as Christian Heritage Month. There is ample evidence that many generations ago when our nation's history was in its developmental stage, Christians were instrumental in building roads, creating settlements and towns, establishing schools, universities, hospitals, and nursing schools. The Ottawa locks and the locks on the Lachine Canal, were built by Christians. Architectural masterpieces like the Parliament Buildings and many banking headquarters tell of a lasting legacy. Yet, the federal government has been quick to designate 'heritage months' to other nationalities that have been in Canada for just a couple of decades. They have left no positive, lasting legacies, that I know of, because they are largely recent immigrants who arrived 'after the dance was over.' You can compare our heritage with the government-designated ones listed at the bottom of our 2026 calendar, and you will have a ready-made prayer calendar so you can pray appropriately for that event on that day. ------------------------------------------------------- Other Christmas Gifts Here are some other great educational gifts: This is a full colour book that shows you the exact location of the 25 Scripture verses found in the Memorial Chamber and concrete arches.
