Free Class In 2026, I plan to be a generous giver of HOPE - Hope that does not disappoint. In 2025 I clung desperately to that hope, in the midst of my trials, reciting regularly that trials develop patience, which develops endurance, and endurance, hope; and hope does not disappoint (Romans 5:3-5 paraphrased). My first gift to you is a free 'Lunch & Learn' class, from 12 pm EST to 1.00 pm EST. You will learn about Canada's Christian history in the Peace Tower. This is ammunition to prepare you to defend the truth that Canada was built by Christians. Join me in a live 'Lunch And Learn' session on Tuesday January 13th at 12 pm EST to 1 pm EST. Let's see if we can pick the architect's, John A. Pearson, brain to understand WHY he chose those specific passages of Scripture. If you register, please read Nahum 1:1-7, and Jeremiah 23:1-5, before you join. The link will be sent on Monday morning. For security reasons, only those who register for the event will be allowed into the room. ------------------------------------------------ Religious Freedom in Canada The fight continues. YOUR action is needed to continue the fight against the Bill C-9. I cannot speak to this issue as well as MP Andrew Lawton and Faytene Grassechi. So watch this video, make those calls, and join the prayer meeting for Canada. ------------------------------------------------- National Prayer Breakfast The National Prayer Breakfast celebrates 60 years this year, on March 23-24, 2026. Last year, Pierre Pollievre, when it was his turn to address the gathering, had the crowd in stitches with his knowledge of Scripture and his wit. The website tells of its history and evolution. It says, The National Prayer Breakfast was founded in 1964 as the first national prayer breakfast in the world. 58 years later, Members of Parliament, Senators, and a group of dedicated political staffers volunteer their time to organize the breakfast, a leadership dinner, and a multi-day summit for young Christian leaders from across the country. At the heart of the National Prayer Breakfast is a small group of Parliamentarians from different political parties who meet for breakfast each Wednesday morning while Parliament is in session. The purpose of the National Prayer Breakfast is to unite leaders in our capital in order to pray together, build relationships, and seek to walk together in the spirit of Jesus Christ. If you are in Southern Ontario and planning to attend, please contact me at: info@christianrootscanada.org or 647-514-6798. ------------------------------------------------ Sharing This Email
